How has being a Sociology graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?
"The Sociology degree helped me understand people and organizations. I have applied to the multi-departments at our catering company and to the diverse on site staff that I manage to execute an event. I also took on the Talent Development role in addition to my Account Executive role, and I use it to recruit and develop individuals on our team."
What advice would you give students in Duke's Sociology programs?
"This degree can apply to ANY career. I majored in Sociology because I loved the classes. The knowledge I gained is applied to my everyday life and career daily - a happy bonus."
