Jaemin Lee receives the 2017 "Outstanding Dissertation in Progress Award" from the Mathematical Sociology section of the American Sociological Association. This award is annually presented to a student whose dissertation employs mathematics in an interesting, imaginative or ingenious way to advance sociological knowledge.
