Childers Awarded James B. Duke International Research Travel Fellowship

Trenita Childers was awarded a James B. Duke International Research Travel Fellowship to support her dissertation research.  The fellowship is designed to support students conducting research abroad.  During the 2014-2015 academic year, Trenita will conduct ethnographic research on sociopolitical factors that impact the mental health of people of Haitian descent living in the Dominican Republic.  The amount of the award is $21,580.
